Prepare yourselves for this blog post. It’s a doozy. A good doozy but I hope you stick with me until the end. The month of July is over, and while I am so sad that fall is coming, I’m happy that my month of travel every week is done. I took July and spent a […]
The 2nd styling with Sam shoot was last week, and oh mylanta was it perfection. I spent months planning and being picky over details for this shoot. I wanted it to stand out from the norm in styled wedding shoots, and I am so happy to say that I did just that with the help […]
I love Fridays. Not because they are the start of the weekend, but because everyone is always in such a good mood! I want to take this amazing day and tell you about some of the behind the scenes work and moments that were part of the first workshop! When I was putting together the […]
I am so excited right now to be able to share this post with you. This has been in the works for months, and it all started as a normal, run of the mill idea for a styled shoot. I am a wedding photographer, so during the months that aren’t crazy busy I get bored. […]
Flowers, foliage, florals, however you want to say it florals are popping up everywhere and I love it! There’s just something about a full, bright, bunch of blooms to brighten a room. Your wedding day is full of opportunities to step up your flower game. I talked on my instagram last week about a special […]
Scrolling through my social media I noticed that there is always so much emphasis on bridal details and just brides in general. What happened to the grooms?!? I feel like especially in today’s society (you know the one where love is love and that’s all) there should be an equal amount of attention paid to […]
Happy Monday!! I’ve been on the fence and of the fence about sharing these types of posts with you, but I really gave a hard thought and I decided that I would keep seeing frustration and sadness in brides unless I started the conversation. So here goes. Today I want to talk to you about your wedding photographer, and their style. I know that doesn’t really seem that important right? Like why can’t you just find someone who takes beautiful photos and is in your budget and call it a day? You can, but I’m here to tell you that you won’t be as happy as you could be with a photographer who’s style speaks to your soul.
Happy Friday!! Today I am so excited and honored to be sharing my personal thoughts on a product for photographers. I received an email a few weeks back from a wonderful company called Sleeklens. They offer workflows and presets for photographers, and they have a workflow dedicated to wedding photographers!! How amazing is that? So I’ve had the workflow for a little while and I’ve been testing it out and playing around with it, and I wanted to just share my thoughts on it.
WOOHOO Hey there Friday!! This month is flying by, it’s almost November. I can’t even believe that looking at my crazy busy calendar for October. I have so many new brides to welcome to the SZP family, and with that comes so many adorable engagement sessions. I want to take a few minutes today and talk about some important stuff…style. Now when I’m chatting with you about your session we talk about style in such fun way- with photos! I have created style boards on Pinterest for my sessions to help you bring your vision to life. My favorite board to create was the one for my gentlemen, can you believe that? So today let’s chat about mens’ style!
Hi!! Are you ready to get deep into the more behind the scenes of SZP? I am ready to open up and really share my journey as a parent of deaf children. I was in and out of readiness to share this, mostly because I didn’t know if it was really something you’d want to […]
