So I wasn’t sure about sharing any of these photos. I’ll be honest, I don’t always enjoy sharing photos of myself but if there was ever a time to do it now is the time! We took a look back on all of he wonderful sessions and portraits I captured last year, but we haven’t […]
There are only a handful of days left before Christmas. . . can you believe that? I have been waiting to do my 2017 recap post because I still have sessions on the books that I want to include, and this is definitely one of them! Abbie is the sweetest, most amazing young woman ever […]
Every now and then I will put up a random shoot location and time on my Facebook page and see who shows up. Well last week I did just that but I didn’t even have to guess who was coming! The sunset was looking to be a beautiful one, so I hopped in the car […]
Happy Monday friend!! I will not lie to you, this morning I didn’t want to climb out of bed and adult. I wanted to just lay in my pjs and be warm and lazy. Unfortunately that would mean I’d miss sharing some awesome things with you. (Also- I’d miss the crazy dance party that’s happening […]
Happy Monday!! How was your weekend?? Did you catch any of my super amazing trip to DC on Instagram?? I am back in full swing here, and that means keeping you guys up to date on all of the super amazing things I am doing! One of those things is my new boudoir line- Glam Girls. What exactly is a Glam Girl session and how is it different? Well I am so glad you asked!
Last weekend, I was in LaGrange, Georgia visiting my besets friend Meaghan. I spent the week there after my conference was over in Atlanta and I had the best time. Meaghan was my first “adult friend”. You know how you have friends who you grow into adulthood with but you always make that first new friend after you’re already an adult? That’s my Meaghan. We are like sisters-down to the clothes we like to wear and the food we like to eat. She is also a photographer (by hobby) and I have ALWAYS wanted to do a girly shoot with her. So, on the last day of my trip I decided that we were going to make it happen…and the magic that came from it is breathtaking.
Why hello there Monday look at you! I am recovering from a busy weekend full of the hubby cleaning out house (early spring cleaning anyone?) and moving around my space. I feel so refreshed after sitting in a new corner and getting a new perspective. Isn’t that the best feeling ever? Today I want to share this beauty’s Glam Girl session and I am SO EXCITED! Seriously this young lady is a real life model and it was an honor to be able to work with her.
Hello inter web friends! How has your week been going- good? I hope so. Mine has been just dandy. I have so many new and exciting things coming this year and I have this huge crazy plan to slowly unleash them all for you. Here’s a more in depth look at one of those plans!! I had mentioned earlier this week at a new type of session- My Glam sessions! Miss Halle here is one of my first 2017 Glam Girls and she completely knocked it out of the park!
Monday is here, the weekend is over-did you spend yours wrapped up in blankets like we did? It has been frigid and snowy here! I’ve slowly opened up my boudoir sector of business over the last few years. It has been a slow, steady, scary adventure to say the least. Boudoir photography is often looked down on, or judged before anyone ever gets to talk about it. I’m working to change that because damn it EVERYONE SHOULD GET TO FEEL BEAUTIFUL!
I am so excited to share some of these super cool images with you guys! I work closely with a fabulous hair and makeup artist- Pretty by K. She is so wonderful you guys. We met through a Tuesday’s together meetup as a part of the rising tide society and I am so so so thankful we did. I knew right away when we met that we’d become friends and I am just so happy we did. Katrina works with all of my boudoir clients, making them feel and look simply stunning each and every time. So when she asked if I would take a few photos for her Toni&Guy hair show, the obvious answer was YES!
