Wedding number 1 of my 2 wedding day was AMAZING! Julie and Josh are great and I am so happy I got to capture this day for them. Their wedding and reception were scheduled for later this year, but some family health issues pushed it up and they decided to move the originally planed ceremony from Chicago to Erie! Luckily everyone was in great health the big day, and I got to capture so much love.
We met at the salon and all the girls were getting made up when I walked in. Julie was simply stunning sitting in her chair and we quickly hit it off 😉 We left the salon to Juile’s childhood home in Erie to get dressed and add the last minute touches. We had a beautiful first look with Julie’s dad and I think it may be my favorite of the year. I love seeing dads get emotional when they see their baby girl all dressed up.
The ceremony and cocktail hour was held at the Erie Club in downtown Erie. It was originally the Charles Manning Reed Mansion and everything about it is gorgeous. It’s classic and simple yet elegant. It matched the wedding perfectly. The bridesmaids and I had a pre ceremony dance party and I know they all had a blast. Thank you so much Mr. & Mrs. Jones for allowing me to capture these memories for you. Take a look at some of my favorites!
They are a GORGEOUS couple and I know their reception back in Chicago will be just as amazing if not more. Have a great day all and remember:
Make it great
