The Gathering Recap!

Well hey there Friday! I have been a bit absent this week, sorry about that 🙁 I want to share something amazing that I had the opportunity to go and witness last week.  I traveled to Fredericksburg Virginia, stayed in a hotel with some lovely ladies who would become my new kitchen table friends, and I got to listen to the AMAZING Hope Taylor and Caroline Logan! I attended the very first Gathering Event- and it was an experience I will never forget.

These girls (who are younger than me I may add) have beautiful booming business and charisma that takes years to hold onto.  They shared struggles and triumphs with 80 baby boss ladies from all over the country! People traveled hours and hours by plane even to come see these ladies.  It was a day I will never forget; full of wisdom and stories.  I am now proud to say that I’m a baby boss lady.  I am not afraid, and I refuse to back down.

I met up with 3 girls the morning of the conference.  We walked around historical downtown, looking at some beautiful churches, eating pizza the size of my face.  It was so nice to meet new people who knew what I was going through in business.  Alex, and Brooke were staying in the same hotel as I was, so after the conference we headed back to the hotel for some late night mac and cheese.  We took headshots of each other before we were allowed in The Gathering, and we sat together and ate relish Chipotle for dinner.  Really guys, I can’t say anything but amazing things about this trip.

We got to stuff an adorable tote bag full of goodies from so many amazing sponsors, we made friends for life, and we all learned that we all start in the same damn place- regardless of what our instagram feed says.  Age is but a number-and this was proof of that. Take a look at some of my memories from this amazing trip!

Alex is so funny! She is fearless and adorable- just like that perfect blonde curly hair! Brooke is like my long lost little sister.  We share so many likes- including our favorite food! It makes me sad that we live so far away, but that’s what FaceTime is for! These girls are just the tip of the iceberg for me.  I am so blessed to now have them in my life to share triumphs and work through hardships with.

I want to thank Hope and Caroline for putting it all out there.  They really outdid themselves.  It was humbling and heart opening to hear them speak.  And to think that they are just babies in this world.  I cannot wait to see what they come up with next because I know it will be amazing.

Have a great weekend loves!
