Happy Friday everyone!! I hope you all had a great week, and an even better weekend! Today I am so excited to share Mollie & Austin’s wedding with you from this past weekend. Mollie and Austin live in Wisconsin, but had their wedding at the Sheraton here in Erie. It was one of the warmest October weddings I have ever seen but oh man it was gorgeous. I have never met a couple so in love before these two. Their eyes light up when they spot each other and their smiles are full of joy-it’s contagious you guys because Erica and I were smiling all day long.
The story of how these two met is one that only true Erie-ites would understand…
“We met at the Barstool open in downtown Erie Pa. Austin was on a team with my cousin, (they both worked for the Erie Seawolves). I saw my cousin while we were out with friends and we were introduced. The rest is history <3.”
Seriously….how much better can an Erie love story get? Of ALL the places to find your true love- the barstool open 🙂 For those who don’t know what that is, it’s a super fun adult afternoon where local bars get together and create a golf tournament of sorts. There is a lot of beer and even more laughs, and a tiny bit of putting at each bar.
Mollie & Austin had their ceremony and reception at the Sheraton on the the bay. It was simply stunning and had some beautiful autumn charm. The girls all got ready at Ambridge Rose Spa and Salon, and the guys played baseball golf at the baseball stadium! Seriously they know how to have fun. Once everyone got to the hotel, I got to meet 3 little fur babies who stole my heart (and stole the bed after everyone left!) and the cutest ring bearer I have ever seen. Everyone had bow ties and smiles galore. We had a beautiful first look, took a time out for some portraits on the marina, and made it back in time for the ceremony! Take a look at some of my favs from Mollie & Austin’s perfect wedding day 🙂
Their reception was so fun thanks to Dj Bill Page. He kept everyone dancing with some great tunes, and there were even a few glow sticks! The centerpieces on each of the tables was a cake- yup cake as a centerpiece. Everyone got a piece of their own right from their table (super clever right?). There was a tv hooked up to Instagram featuring all of the photos posted with their hashtag- #anythingispunzable. We may have snuck in a selfie 😉 To top it all off, Mollie and Austin shared their special day with a very special birthday girl, Mollie’s grandmother. It was a night to remember and I am so honored to have gotten to share it with them.
Have a superb weekend everyone and congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Punzel!!
