This blog post will probably be my absolute favorite ever. I haven’t been shy in my social media about how much this wedding meant to me, and for good reason! My two best friends married each other! Corey and Lisa said ‘I Do” on Friday in Warren Pennsylvania at the beautiful Conewango Valley Country Club and Golf Course and it was magical. I have to give it to these guys, their day was planned out to the very last detail, and I was in heaven. Lisa made sure that she was ready for the most beautiful day of her life, and she was radiant. I can’t promise that I won’t get through this post without crying (again) but here goes nothing!
I want to say that the love these two share is real and unposed. They basically did my job for me, which was a surprise, but oh so beautiful. I was already emotional, but watching them see each other for the first time, sharing that first kiss as husband and wife, really just broke me. Luckily I had my wonderful friend Jessica Husted with me to turn to when I needed a minute!! I have never met two people more meant to be together than Corey and Lisa. Being the third to their Musketeers is an honor, something I will never take for granted. I love them with all of my heart and being there, watching them vow to each other to love one another as they love themselves really brought it full circle for me. You see, years back I called this. I knew that they would see the light and end up with each other, and become the happiest people in the world. You can imagine how relieved was when it actually happened. Corey and Lisa planned out a beautiful rustic Italian wedding, full of burgundy and gold details, and lots of wine! Corey’s family is Italian, and I learned about the most beautiful tradition ever. Lisa and her bridesmaids made their own bouquets. As the Italian tradition it was Corey’s job to make the bridal bouquet as a last gift before he became her husband. We all need to take a minute and appreciate how beautiful that is, and also how much of an AMAZING job he did! (and now I need a tissue).
I want to send out a thank you to all of the vendors who made this day so special to them (they’ll be listed after all of the beautiful photos) and share some of my favorite moments of this day with you!
