So I wasn’t sure about sharing any of these photos. I’ll be honest, I don’t always enjoy sharing photos of myself but if there was ever a time to do it now is the time! We took a look back on all of he wonderful sessions and portraits I captured last year, but we haven’t really taken any time to look back on what I was doing. I was in full hustle mode this year. I wanted to work on so many things to better my life and business. I am excited to say that I was published 6 times! What?!? Ah so crazy. I held 2 styled shoots and one included vendors from another country- yeah. I have made new friendships and lost one or two. I took over our area’s Rising Tide Group and became the Erie Tuesday’s Together Leader. I traveled more in one year than I had previously in my life ever. I flew on 8 different airplanes, and spent time with friends I haven’t been able to see in years. I surprised my sweet friend Lisa by going to Chicago for her bridal shower and bachelorette party, and spent my birthday in Georgia visiting the best aquarium ever! IT was really a year for the books. Not to mention I became the mom of a kindergartener and had 2 boys in pre-school. There were some rough times sure, but the good definitely outnumbered them by miles.
I don’t have many behind the scenes photos of myself, and that’s a goal for this year. I think it’s important to take a look at HOW I do my job not just the end product. It isn’t glamourous by any means, but let’s take a look at some of the moments that were captured of me…
So there you have it…I bet you didn’t even know you’d get the boudoir selfie progress did ya? I really debated on sharing images like these but then I realized I’d be doing exactly the opposite if what I tell my clients. I encourage them to share these with everyone. We should all be proud of who we are and what we look like. We should be just as proud to show how we really look while we’re working, and not just the perfectly curated couple selfie I try and take each wedding. I want you to get to know the real me, the crazy loud lady who maybe swears more than she should but has a damn good time!
Thank you all for a stellar 2017. I really don’t know what else to say that would suffice. It has been a ride for sure, but that’s what makes my life an work so exciting. I am ready to tackle 2018 head on in the large snowbank outside my house. Are you ready to come with me?
