A light warm breeze moved through the trees. I pulled into the gravel parking lot and looked up to see the beautiful historic house. Going inside I heard the laughter of the ladies and I saw Jen’s warm smile. We squealed and hugged and I was off to check out the levels of the house for the perfect details area. You wouldn’t believe me the amount of awe that engulfed me as I walked through the halls. Beautiful velvet chairs and antique bed frames were in each room. The window light poured in to the end of the hallway. It was perfect and beautiful. The beach meets barn wedding details were beautiful and understated. Jen made the bouquets herself!
The ceremony was quiet and almost too quick. I wished that it continued on and on with the moments that I witnessed. There were many laughs, some tears, and some beautiful words an prayer. The birds even quieted their singing for the ceremony. Troy and Jen exchanged glances and their kiss was a seal of their beautiful commitment to one another. Once they walked up the aisle together, it was time to party!! I knew a good deal of the bridal party thanks to my husband, and I knew we could get some perfect smiles without trying too hard.
Golf carts and a quick ride around the beautiful Mound Grove Golf Course led to the reception full of dancing and memories. Jen wore teal chucks with light up laces, the couple danced the Y.M.C.A, and the new couple even surprised Jen’s parents with a dance for their 50th anniversary. Everyone laughed and danced into the night, and the happy couple drove off in Troy’s bright golden Mustang. It was a beautiful barn fairytale.
A big thank you goes out to all of the vendors who helped make this day a beautiful wedding dream!

Jen and Troy: I just want to say thank you so much for opening up your day to me. I was honored to hold all of the memories that you’ll hang in your home together. Your love and commitment to one another was a sight to see and I am so thankful I was there to see it. Thank you from the bottom of my still sore feet (from all of that dancing).
