Mountain top love, you know what that is right? The kind of love where you just want to scream from the top of the mountains that this is your person and you love them and that’s it. Well I took mountain top love to a whole new meaning with Steph and Bryan and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you!
We drove to Cooper’s Rock State forest on a gorgeous day. It wasn’t too warm or too cool, the wind was just barely there, keeping the air moving. It was perfect. There were a few more people there than I thought there would be so I was curious. I drove up to the parking lot and almost crashed a wedding. No biggie right? I’m sure they didn’t mind but I felt ridiculous so I walked around them and continued to scope out the scene!
I try to get to the location before my couple so that I have time to walk around and get a solid game plan before even saying hello. It helps me help you, so that’s always a plus right? Speaking of helping you- did you know that pretty much every couple I work with tries to tell me they’re bad at taking photos? Seriously it’s the most common concern that I see! I always respond with the same kind of reply, along the lines of “You definitely won’t be, trust me”!
Taking a look at the photos from this engagement session make me so happy, and it really is a testament to that statement I make. All it takes is some good light and trust, mixed with two people in love, and we have a recipe for magic! Enjoy a look at these so gorgeous moments from Steph and Bryan’s mountaintop love engagement evening!
