A Summer Estate Wedding in Waterford Pennsylvania | Mr. & Mrs. Malito

Warm sunshine and a light breeze filled the air as I pulled up to the beautiful Argyll Abbey in Waterford Pennsylvania.  It was a wonderful day for a wedding, and I was eager to see my bride Kaitlin.  I approached the barn and took note of some beautiful portrait locations for later, and went to see where the ceremony and getting ready portion would be.

Kaitlin & Antonio downsized their wedding after the pandemic hit, and Kaitlin really just wanted to get married.  She said in her toast during some light snacks that it ended up being exactly what she wanted, because it was smaller and more intimate.  Neither one of them were big fans of a lot of attention, so a big wedding day was causing some stress and nerves.  Anyone else nod along to that, because I know I did!

Along with their closest family and a few friends, they shared vows and promises in the middle of a meadow, with the beautiful music from Brooke Surgener playing and the wind lightly blowing through the field.  It was amazing.  Being able to take a step back and just take it all in is something I try to do at each wedding, and let me tell you that for some reason this wedding in particular made me emotional in that moment.  I had to wipe a tear away as I went back into the zone, trying to grab those little details and smiles they were sharing.  I want to share all of these memories with you, but I think I’ll allow the photos to do most of the talking here.  What I will say is that it was perfect.  These images perfectly captured the love that was shared and the new life that Antonio and Kaitlin are embarking on together.  Also, Kaitlin wore 3 different bridal looks and I was swooning as they changed throughout the day.  Like literally swooning.  I need more brides to be comfortable in their reception dress, or want to make a statement during the ceremony with a detachable train skirt.

A big thank you to all of the vendors who played a part in making this day come true, alongside both families who worked so hard!

To the new Mr. & Mrs. I hope this day turned out to be as magical and amazing as you hoped.  I know hiccups along the way make it hard to see the end result, but as life does, it makes the journey memorable! I truly loved working with you and being a part of this day with you.  I wish you nothing but years of laughter and love and cannolis!
