A wedding that was originally supposed to happen during the winter, and now in the summer. Wow let’s just all applaud these newlyweds for changing everything down to the season for their big day! I know that wedding planning can be crazy and it’s like it never will end, but even just hearing Loghan say out loud as we drove up the hill at Sparrow Hill, “I can’t believe it’s almost over”
Wedding days go so fast. It’s one thing after another and this person wants to say hi or congratulations. or so and so wants a photo. You’re constantly doing something and hardly get time to even soak in that you are now married! Enter the amazing venue team at Sparrow Hill. Josh and Jeanette are wedding photographers as well as venue owners, and know that time is important. They carve out times throughout your day to take a break and just be. For example, the beautiful (and new) pavilion for receptions was done being set up before cocktail hour began and there was a few moments where we could take Levi and Loghan down to see what their space looked like without their family inside. It was a nice little break to soak in the fact that they had just said I do wand walked up that aisle together.
Another awesome moment that I like to give my couples is sunset portraits. They hustle and bustle is all done and over with, you’ve hopefully had some time to eat and sit down, and you may just want a few moments alone. What better way than to head outside, find that glow, (in this case drive up the hill to the most beautiful overlook area)and snuggle with your new spouse. It was sweet and quiet and so much fun. I highly recommend and encourage it for all of my couples!
I could talk about how much I adore Levi and Loghan and their families all day. Really. They were all so welcoming and warm and there was so much love in the air. Levi shared a beautiful prayer just before the ceremony, and he even left his bride a sweet note to read after he left for some last minute prepping. They found a shared love in God and His word, and had so much fun together all day. There wasn’t a single moment that I looked at either of them and didn’t see a smile.
Enjoy a small glimpse into their beautiful wedding day!
A huge thanks to the amazing vendor team who helped make this day amazing! I know it wouldn’t have been the same without any of you!
