HELLO GORGEOUS!

Meet Elliot | An Erie Pa Senior

Happy Wednesday!! Can you believe that tomorrow is already Thanksgiving? I can’t that’s for sure.  This year has FLOWN by and at a crazy speed.  I wrapped up my final 2016 autumn season with Elliott.  Elliott is a senior at McDowell and he was just awesome.  Right when we met at Presque Isle I knew it was going to be a great session.  He was cracking jokes and so easy going.  Elliott and his mom decided to break his senior session into parts- one part during the fall and then later this winter we will do the second half.  I am loving this way of doing a senior session recently. It gives SO much more individuality to my seniors’ experience, and it gives us more time to hang out and get to know one another. I have found that the more I know about my seniors, the more I can really tailor their sessions to them! Who doesn’t want a super fun, personal senior portrait experience? I don’t think there are many.

Monday is here…and so is the snow! It’s crazy to think that we had a few days last week that were in the 70’s and now it’s snowing. So in honor of those few days, let’s take a look at Emma’s autumn senior session!

Meet Riley! | A Girard Pa Senior

It’s finally FRIDAY!! Woot! My favorite day and what a better day to share one of my favorite sessions today.  I’m serious this senior session is like top 5 of my career.  Meet Riley- a Girard Senior and style icon to me.  I was so happy her mama got a hold me of after seeing Kaitlyn’s senior session (see that here!). I knew once we started talking that this was going to be so much fun.

Girard High School Marching Band | Nathan Senior

I was a marching band kid…no shame there.  I loved the family feeling I got in every practice and being able to go to football games for free was kind of cool.  To have one of my senior reps in their own marching band made my heart sing with joy.  Nathan is entering his final year in marching band.  It’s bittersweet and beautiful.  We decided to do something special with all of the seniors in Girard High School’s marching band and do some fun photos for them. They have their band camp during the summer at Camp Notre Dame in Fairview, Pa and oh my goodness it was perfection.  Take a look at all of these awesome kids!

Meet Jared Part 2 | Senior Rep

Climbing up the side of a cliff with the lake below….sounds fun right? Not when you’re afraid of heights and carrying your second baby in your hands! 😉 We had a super fun time at Jared’s senior rep session and that included some climbing!  I saw the clips on this private little beach and thought […]

Meet Jared Part 1 | Senior Rep

Jared had his senior session last week!  I am so happy to be getting all of my reps in – it’s so amazing to be working with these kids.  So Jared is a lifeguard at Camp Sherwin in Lake City PA.  He knew of a secluded beach right at the camp that was absolutely stunning.  So we started at camp super casual.  We had to climb down this crazy staircase made of old wood to get down there, and if you know anything about me it’s that I’m not graceful at all.  It was a bit scary, but 100% worth it.  There were a few trees that lined the beach and some cool slate rock steps.  We even climbed up the side of a cliff to grab a few higher shots.  After we had gotten about halfway through his session we decided to take a 5 minute ride down the road to Avonia Park.  It’s right on the lake and there is a gorgeous little set up to watch the sunset from.  We walked around there for a more formal feel and I think we nailed it! Take a look at some of my favorites 🙂

Meet Emma PART 2 | Senior Rep

We really packed in a trip during Emma’s senior session last week! WE had 2 hours and managed to get in 4 locations! I love when we have the ability to really make your session unique.  We had a GREAT time at a jet-ski rental building right in the bay.  I personally just love the look of the building , but once I told Emma and her mom about it they informed me that they know the owner! How crazy is that? So we got an all-access pass so to say.  The images we shot there might be my favorite from her session-I mean how many people can say they just shot on a boat with little to no planning involved? When we walked down to the row of boats there was a young boy working.  He was the cutest little gentleman holding Emma’s hand onto the boat making sure she made it on okay.  I just wanted to hug him! (Is that weird?)

Meet Caitlin PART 2 | Senior Rep

Caitlin has graduated from McDowell in Millcreek Pa.  She is going to Gannon this fall (yay for staying close to home!) She has the greatest smile ever, and loves CHEESEBURGERS! At our welcome party we had an entire conversation about burgers and I knew we’d become super close quickly.  I was totally right there. I asked all of my seniors a few questions about themselves and here are Caitlin’s answers:

Meet Emma PART 1 | Senior Rep

So today you guys are going to meet sweet, sweet Emma.  This darling gal has a place kept so close to my heart.  When we were talking about her session and what she wanted to wear and places she wanted to go, Emma wanted to be different.  She wanted to stand out in a crowd and be herself.  I think we managed to do just that in her session.  We ended up driving along the Bayfront Parkway and stopped at a few places to shoot.  We started at Frontier Park, a fairly common setting for photos, but that’s because it’s a beautiful park here in Erie.
