Mr. & Mrs. Stephenson | A New Year’s Eve Wedding In Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

He stood there just outside the elevator, waiting to hear the ding of the doors opening.  He was nervous, but so ready to see his almost wife.  The waiting and emotions got the best of him as a tear streamed down his face.  The elevator doors opened and you could hear a pin drop.  All […]

An Autumn Edinboro Wedding | Edinboro Pennsylvania Wedding | Samantha Zenewicz Photography

Mr. & Mrs. Sullivan | An Edinboro Autumn Wedding At Nick’s Place

The hustle and bustle of a wedding day is something that I can never seem to grasp.  I never can come up with a plan to ease the craziness of a wedding day, but Amber had it under control.  She was so calm and just ready to get married! I loved it, and the staff […]

A Soft Summer Wedding at Mammoth Park | Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania | Samantha Zenewicz Photography

Mr. & Mrs. Eshleman | A Mammoth Park Wedding | Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania

The drive was far, but not the farthest.  We had the radio and AC on blast, and the highway was flying by.  I was getting those nervous but excited butterflies that I get before every wedding.  I had never met Amanda or Isaac minus a call we shared and a string of emails.  I knew […]

Mr. & Mrs. Barnes | A Downtown Erie Pa Wedding

It’s another wedding Wednesday and I am so excited to share some of Jake and Sara’s wedding with you! I loved working with Sara- actually our connection is a pretty cool story! I photographed a wedding last summer for our dear friends Jeremy and Kristi in South Carolina.  We all had so much fun together and I met this wonderful woman named Erin.  She was bubbly and beautiful and hilarious, and she loved my work hard.  Fast forward to the end of my coverage of the reception and the beginning of the “Sam is a guest now” time period.  Erin runs over and asks me if I have a card.  I always do so I gave her one, which she stuck in her honey’s shirt pocket. She explained that her sister was just engaged and she would be referring me to her!! I was so humbled and excited that at a reception I was gaining a referral by some crazy wonderful people. Sara connected with me soon after we got back to PA and we hit it off instantly.  Sara is so sweet and funny and her sarcasm is my life. I am so happy I had that card with me last September!

What’s in My Wedding Day Styling Kit? | SZP Education

Happy Monday! I am coming at you bright and early with some super awesome education today.  I wanted to share a bit of behind the scenes work with you, and especially for my brides I hope this puts you at ease when you’re thinking about those super beautiful detail shots that you see all over Instagram and Pinterest.  I always bring my style kit to a wedding. Always, always, always. Sometimes I get to a wedding and start looking around the getting ready room and I find amazing things, so I don’t even end up needing my kit.  However, sometimes things are limited and in I swoop with my superhero box to save the day! So the question is: what do I keep in my styling kit?

All About Details | Wedding FAQ’s

Hey Wednesday! Halfway 😉 We’re doing good this week right? Today I want to share some information with all of my brides out there- all about the details of your wedding day! I know wedding planning can be scary and overwhelming, but if you’re an SZP bride know that I will be there for you every step of the way.  I love bridal details- love them.  I spend a good hour-hour and half of the wedding day shooting just the details.  I know that seems like a lot but friends it is not! As a photographer, shooting the tiniest details of your special day is something that you will look back on and be so happy about.  It’ll get me ready for your day by really getting me into the feel of your wedding.  I love getting creative with things and your details is one of the areas that I can really do that.
