I live for golden hour, delicate details, and love stories. Let's dive into your wedding together!
Picnic engagement sessions have now become my favorite. I mean we’re taking two of my favorite things, my job and food, and combining them so what could go wrong? Literally nothing guys. Nothing. Cielo reached out to me via Instagram and we started chatting about her wedding day. Let me tell you that these guys […]

There is nothing quite like an engagement session at sunset on Lake Erie. It’s known that we have some of the most beautiful sunsets in the US, and I feel truly honored to live so close to where they can be seen. Don & Ashley met me at beach 10 on Presque Isle for some […]

Happy Wednesday!! Can you believe that tomorrow is already Thanksgiving? I can’t that’s for sure. This year has FLOWN by and at a crazy speed. I wrapped up my final 2016 autumn season with Elliott. Elliott is a senior at McDowell and he was just awesome. Right when we met at Presque Isle I knew it was going to be a great session. He was cracking jokes and so easy going. Elliott and his mom decided to break his senior session into parts- one part during the fall and then later this winter we will do the second half. I am loving this way of doing a senior session recently. It gives SO much more individuality to my seniors’ experience, and it gives us more time to hang out and get to know one another. I have found that the more I know about my seniors, the more I can really tailor their sessions to them! Who doesn’t want a super fun, personal senior portrait experience? I don’t think there are many.

Surprise Thursday post!! I dropped the ball yesterday sorry about that. This weather is so confusing to my immune system- cold one day, then 70 something degrees. Speaking of crazy weather- Sammie and Dylan braved out the pouring rain for their engagement session. It was really really rainy out, but Sammie and Dylan live in Ohio, so we braved it out while they were in town. I am so glad we did, because it gave me an excuse to teach them all of the nuzzling and cuddly poses that I love so much.

A few weeks ago, I spent the morning at the beach with one of my favorite families! The E family and ours have gotten considerably closer recently, and I was super duper excited to do some fun family photos with them. These boys were so excited to get out of the car and play around. We did some climbing, (I did some climbing too with my gear- talk about scary) and then took a short walk to a pavilion to see some fish and some geese. Here’s a handy dandy little snippet for you guys- I am terrified of geese. Like really really scared of them. So we walked over and there they were just waling toward us. I decided we should go back to mom and dad then. We did some photos on a floating little shelter which was cool, and then went across the parking lot to the beach!! The boys loved the beach. I think mom and dad did too 😉 We splashed around with our feet and took some fun candids, overall an amazing session! Take a look at this gorgeous family 🙂

Getting this session in turned out to be more work than we thought! The weather sucked earlier this year, and then with trips and work schedules- we finally got a date! I was nervous when I pulled into the parking lot at one of our beaches at Presque Isle as it was starting to sprinkle. We toughed it out and mother nature stopped the rain for us 🙂

I can FINALLY start blogging some of my senior rep sessions!! I cannot tell you how happy I am to introduce you all to my team. I love them all so much and they are all amazing. Caitlin is actually a senior this year- so she’s already graduated 🙁 BUT that didn’t stop us from knocking her session out of the park. Her session was moved around because of some terrible rain, and the evening of her new date it stormed like crazy! I almost called to cancel and then while I was driving I saw how beautiful the evening was turning out to be and that made for one of the most beautiful sunsets you could imagine.
